A wonderful, straight-forward diner. Many tables in a large room. The waitress (owner?) was friendly, helpful, and down-to-earth. The food was well prepared and just what we ordered: hot ham and Swiss sandwich, cheeseburger, and fries (which were crispy, just right). Really good basic dinner food, what one should expect. We will definitely return in the future. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This place was just excellent in every way. Affordable with quality food and a nice, quiet, friendly atmosphere. My wife and I loved the barrels you sit in as well as the friendly service we received. Her burger was delicious and my grilled chicken salad was absolutely fantastic. If youre in the area and hungry you should definitely check this place out.

This is a neat place to eat and enjoy those who came with. Great food, great service! We will definitely stop here again if we come out this way. The seating is comfortable!

I have been driving into FLATWOODS (Sutton) for years to fill up at the SHELL (now sadly gone as is the restaurant beside it) and only glanced at the sign for Luzander's. However, this trip I decided to give this out-of-the-way place a try....and so glad I did!!! This is REALLY a "hidden gem" and must be popular with locals as there is no advertising on the highway. Set way back at the end door in a small strip mall when you open the door the INTERIOR is absolutely HUGE!!!! Very kitsch decorations and a large number of tables with TUB CHAIRS and a stage area which is used occasionally for music on the weekends so I was told. Very helpful and friendly lady and a very fast kitchen which served up a daily special of tender and delicious pulled pork on a bun. Paired with flavourful and creamy cole slaw (the way I like it) this was a terrific reward for driving a bit further up the hill. I HIGHLY recommend any travelers to locate this place and head in for a wonderful experience and so great food.

Such a great find! We were traveling through the area and wanted a late breakfast. We got it! Delicious food and a fun atmosphere.

They were really busy when I was there, so I believe they were doing the best they could. The burgers were big and tasty. Other sandwichs I enjoyed also.

Truly an authentic place. The food is simple and consistent with what one would expect of a diner in West Virginia. The waitress was straightforward and knew what she was doing. The setting has a dance floor with cocktail tables and room for at least 100 people. A reveal party was going on behind a curtain. We had a cheeseburger (patty was made in when we ordered) and a hot ham and cheese sandwich on white bread. We learned about homemade soup and chili after we had finished, so we will get that next time.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! The staff was so accommodating! We were in Flatwoods kindda late and happened upon Luzaders by chance. We were STARVING lol The staff were so friendly and even stayed open late so we could finish our meal. We loved our waitress (Kassie) and the food was amazing! We'll definitely be back! If you find yourself in Flatwoods we recommend you stop in and try Luzaders!
